Or so I have been told by my daughter who tells me I should be posting recipes more often. So starting later this week, I will be posting recipes for the Christmas cookies i will be making this year plus anything else that strikes my fancy. That might make her happy.
I haven't frogged anymore projects but I am iffy about this one. I love the yarn -- it's a 2/28 merino/cashmere/silk blend from Colourmart in this beautiful color, black currant. The color is rich and wonderful, the yarn soft with a nice sheen from the silk. But it is quite fine and I am not sure this is the right pattern for it. I am trying it out in Susan Pandorf's Iris, which have made wider so it will be a stole. I am using 11/0 purple iris beads which look green or purple or blue depending on the light. What do you think?
My future daughter-in-law's mother sent us a lovely box of pears. Right after we opened it, Spike pounced on the box. There has been a competition between him and Roscoe for 4 days now to see who has possession. Roscoe fits it but Spike... well, see for yourself.
