Today is baking day. My good intentions for doing it a little at a time fell by the wayside, so today will be devoted to cookies and finishing gifts. Tomorrow we are off to my daughter's in Bowdoin, a teenier town about an hour and a half from us where we will eat great food and enjoy each other's company, which is what this time of year is all about for me.
